Recently, CFS participated in the SouthCoast Business Expo at White’s of Westport. Members of CFS got the opportunity to interact with customers and prospects and network with other businesses. It was a successful event.
While every trade show is different, there are a few things you should do at every show to be successful. Here are a few quick tips from some of the team at CFS to help you have a successful tradeshow experience!
Tim Slattery, CEO
When someone walks up to your booth, welcome them with an introduction, a firm handshake, and eye contact. Save the sales pitch until after you get to know a little about them and their business.
Greg Jezard, President
Having a successful trade show experience starts with having an experienced staff on hand to properly promote your business and answer any questions people who visit your booth may have.
Tony Pires, VP of Business Development
Visit other booths and connect with them. Sometimes you find a customer may be another exhibitor at the trade show.
Tara O’Neil, Marketing Specialist
Stay connected with visitors and other exhibitors from the trade show using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
Mary Latessa, Associate Account Executive
Make sure to keep your booth neat and organized, nobody likes to see a messy booth. Also, keep it well-stocked with marketing collateral and branded promotional products.
Marlon Fernandes, Creative Director
Let people know you’ll be there. Send a postcard, post it on social media, or send out an email blast. The more people who know you’ll be there, the better.
