For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Tim Slattery, the CEO and founder of CFS, Inc. When we first opened our doors in 1990, things were different. For example, the number one show on TV was Cheers, Jeff Bezos was 4 years away from selling his first item on Amazon, and print media was the most popular form of business communication and marketing.
I decided to call my business Corporate Fulfillment Systems (CFS) because that was what we did- providing fulfillment services and support for over 20 years. From packaging and warehousing to mailing and tracking, our company has honed the process of fulfillment services to art. Our approach to quality and individually focused processes has earned us the trust and partnership of wonderful clients throughout the country.
The State of CFS
Now, in 2014, things look a lot different than they did 24 years ago. With the internet at everyone’s fingertips, digital media and communication have moved from the physical realm to our desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Of course, this didn’t happen overnight, the evolution of communication and technology has been a journey that CFS has been a part of since we opened. However, it is more important than ever before for my company to showcase our modern solutions for the world to see.
I’m proud to announce that Corporate Fulfillment Systems, Inc., is now changing to CFS, Inc. So what does CFS mean to us? What it has always meant: Client-Focused Solutions. We are so much more than just a warehouse and fulfillment center- although we do execute that part of our business with industry-leading quality- we are solutions providers.
Some Things Never Change
Rebranding CFS has been about taking the solutions we have already been perfecting and providing throughout the lifespan of our company, and showing them to businesses worldwide. As we’ve created countless client-specific solutions throughout the years, we have noticed the problems our clients face have common ties that bind them together. That’s why we decided to refer to these tailored services as solutions, and it became our motto to act as silent partners; we are here to solve the issues that follow our clients’ homes and keep them up at night.
