What advice would you give someone going into your field?
I think the biggest thing is everything takes time and effort. So if you’re coming into this field you have to be willing to put in the time and put in the effort because it doesn’t come fast. I remember reading a book called “Love Is the Killer App” and it says there are 3 things you should do to help become successful in life:
1) Become the expert
2) Build a network
3) Share the previous two
Are you a morning or night person?
I think most people would tell you I’m an all-day person. I like every part of the day, I wake up energized and it pretty much lasts all day.
What are a few of your hobbies?
Hiking, kayaking, anything outdoors. I prefer the outdoors, and I like being out in nature – whether it’s with my family, our dogs, anything that has to do with outdoors I enjoy doing. That also includes riding my motorcycle.
Have you ever traveled outside of the US? If so, where?
Yes, when I was younger quite a bit. Places such as: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Germany, Switzerland, France, Costa Rica, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Aruba, and Canada.
Do you have a favorite moment helping a client?
I can’t think of a favorite moment, but I enjoy connecting with our clients. So my favorite moments are when I am able to develop a relationship and friendship with them.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I would have to say two things, my family and owning/running my business.
