CFS continues to closely monitor updates about the coronavirus (COVID-19) across the globe. We are tracking recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, U.S. State Department and local Departments of Public Health for updated travel advisories and prevention measures. The health and safety of CFS staff and their families, clients and vendors remain our top priority.
Travel (International & Domestic)
Please avoid non-essential international and domestic travel until further notice. All Personnel planning business or personal travel should closely monitor CDC updates situations are subject to change.
Returning from Overseas
CFS has required that all personnel, temporary staff, service technicians, drivers and vendors returning from an international travel advisory country must self-quarantine off site for 14 days, even if symptom-free.
CDC recommendations regarding quarantine are to be followed. Team members are to notify their Manager should a family member within their household, or a person with whom they’ve had contact be quarantined.
CFS visitors and family members of CFS team members are asked to follow the same “Returning from Overseas” and quarantine rules that apply to CFS personnel. Visitors from an international travel advisory country are permitted at CFS only following a 14-day self-quarantine period.
CFS plans to remain open throughout the pandemic and will shut down if the local, state or federal government mandates us to do so or as circumstances dictate.
Employees should discuss ‘remote work options’ with their manager if the nature of their job allows for it.
Facilities Management has increased cleaning protocols at CFS, using virex 256 II, an ‘A’ grade hospital disinfectant that will sanitize and disinfect surfaces. Cleaning efforts have been stepped up in particular in high-traffic areas such as bathrooms, conference rooms and cafeteria.
To reduce the number of ‘touches’, common area doors (that do not impact security) are propped open during business hours.
Wall mounted Purell hand sanitizer dispensers are located at the main entry, all restrooms, the cafeteria, and individual workstations.
Group meetings are held in larger open-air space of the warehouse to better allow for social distancing rather than in smaller enclosed conference rooms.
Communication during a Facility Shutdown
If a shutdown occurs, customers can communicate with CFS team members via email or by calling our main number, (508) 285-2800. When calling our main number, customers can leave a message for an individual employee in their voice mail by entering their extension. Employees will receive an email containing the voicemail message.
For urgent requests, customers can leave a message on our ‘After Hours Emergency Mailbox’. Members of our management team will receive a text alert as a result of messages left in the emergency mailbox.
Employees should use the ‘CFS Employee Emergency Line’ to obtain corporate messages throughout the shutdown. Managers will also communicate to staff via group text messages.
Employees with email accounts can check email by going to office.com and logging into Office 365. Once logged in, navigate to the Outlook app.
Please refer to your employee handbook for time off policies.
